That is the only channel. There is no contact form on this site, no phone number, and no chat widget, because none of them would reach anyone faster and a form implies an intake process that does not exist.
What to write about
- A correction — see the corrections policy for what helps.
- A subject you think Beacon should cover, especially one where the existing material online is thin or wrong.
- A broken or outdated link.
- Permission to republish or quote something.
- Accessibility problems with the site.
What we cannot help with
We cannot answer questions about your situation. Beacon is a publication, not a law firm. We cannot tell you whether you qualify for something, review your documents, tell you what to file, estimate how long your case will take, or recommend a lawyer. Sending case details to this address does not create an attorney–client relationship and does not make anything you send confidential — so please do not send sensitive documents or personal identifiers.
If you need advice on your own matter, contact a licensed attorney in your state. Most state bar associations run a lawyer referral service, and legal aid organizations serve people who cannot afford private counsel.
If a deadline is running
Legal deadlines do not pause for correspondence. If you are facing a hearing date, a filing deadline, a response deadline on an agency notice, or an eviction or removal date, speak to a licensed attorney or the relevant court or agency directly rather than waiting for a reply here.
